This is the real deal. A nice high quality, genuine Harley-Davidson Police leather motorcycle jacket known as the Cycle-Champ. This one I believe, is part number 98100-49 or -54, and judging by the zippers, label, leather, etc. is from the 1950s H-D police line and made in the USA. The same time frame when the Hyda-Glide Panheads were new on the road. This jacket is in incredible vintage condition and considering its age, looks to have been used very respectfully over the many years with only minor signs of use. It must have spent a lot of its existence hanging in the closet. The outer leather, inner lining and pocket linings are all in good vintage usable condition. All the zippers and snaps work as they should, with no issues. There is no patches and no pin-holes from removed patches or biker pins. The outer leather has a great patina that only time can give. These jackets come up for action rarely in any condition. I personalty love this style of jacket. The H-D Cycle-Champ style line of jackets, have been around for a long time (40s) and is a tried and tested design. It was made for the Cycle-Cops and hard core bikers. It is designed to take what you can dish-out. So, if you are looking for a highly respected vintage biker jacket, then it gets no better then this one; the H-D Cycle-Champ Police leather biker jacket.This jacket was designed so Cycle-Cops could use their own duty belt and an optional fur collar. Harley offered a fur collar and also a belt for it, but these were sold separately. Jacket features:
*Around 5lbs. of high quality supple heavyleather and craftsmanship made by Harley-Davidson.
*Under arm vented.
*Three outer pockets, one inner map pocket.
*Zip-up sleeve cuffs.
*Snapped belt loops to wear your favorite belt for a more snug fit if needed.
*Stiff lower back kidney panel giving additional sport and protection for those longer then usual all day rides.
*It has the classic large overlapping collar style with collar snaps to hold them down on those fast windy rides.
*It has the additional snaps for the optional fur collar.
*It has the quilted inner lining.
*All zippers are the heavy duty zippers and all the snaps are the heavy duty snaps as well.

The size label is missing but it measures at about a 38 Reg or so, and it fits like a Small.
