Super adorable maroon taffeta cocktail dress with button embellished unique neckline! Modesty panel at the plunge. Undefined shoulder seam. Button adorn each sleeve (they do not match the front and center buttons/possibly added as replacements). Slight musty odor; I did not Dry Clean this dress. Some tension on the waist darts in the back, but they are still holding firm. Flattering swing shape. No labels. Side sturdy metal zipper. Flattering bodice cut/seams. Belt loops but no belt. Bilateral underarms looked to be re-stitched/repaired unprofessionally. This area is hidden. Extremely tiny hole on the anterior left sleeve. Interfacing on the modesty panel, inside the dress, should be re-stitched over a short distance of 1\". Inner workmanship shows pinked and unfinished seams, typical of the workmanship of the day. Heavier weight fabric would not require a slip.

Underarm repairs look to have been done.
