ItemDescription: This sale is for a wonderful pot made by Maui Pottery of Hawaii. Theunglazed raku pot has a white crackle glaze band incised with Polynesian stylepetroglphs including a sea turtle, surfer and double canoe each separated by 3wavy lines that represent the ocean. The pot comes with 2 original tags tied tothe pot with raffia. One tag/booklet translates and describes variouspetroglyphs. The other tag/booklet describes Volcano’s Fire Raku PetroglyphArt.

Maker& Other Marks: The jaris signed on the bottom C.MATTI and MAUI.
