This is an original hand-painted animation cel and matching production drawing used in the actual production of this cartoon. Complete with production notes and peg holes.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is an American animated televison series produced by Filmation based on Mattel's successful toy line. The show, often referred to as simply He-Man, was one of the most popular animated children's shows of the 1980s, and has retained a heavy cult following to this day.
It made its televion debut in 1983 and ran until 1985, consisting of two seasons of 65 episodes each. Reruns continued to air in syndication until 1988, at which point USA Network bought the rights to the series. USA aired He-Man until September 1990.
Cels (short for celluloids) are the fundamental building blocks behind all animated film entertainment. The fluid motion portrayed in a cartoon is the result of thousands of individual original paintings. Several hundred such cels are required for a single minute of animated film.
Each cel and drawing is a complete original, created by a single animation artist. It is an original production cel and drawing used in in the actual cartoon itself. Each piece is as an original production element as opposed to a repainted rendering or reproduction.
In excellent condition with no fading, no discoloring, no wear & tear, and has been properly stored in a smoke free home and from my personal collection.

Sport and entertainment items are all from my private collection. Most of the autographs were obtained in person at games, events or special signings and do not come with a COA, but I can guarantee authenticity. If not obtained in person I will provide a explaination of how obtained and from whom.
