A pair of magnificent mid 19th-century (1862) English silver salts.
Squat circular form with gadrooned rim, each stands on three animal hoofed feet.
The body decorated with deeply repousse and chased flowers, scrolls and leaves.
They are large and heavy gauge salt dishes, weighing 89g and 94g respectively.
Matching hallmarks on both the dishes.
A superb pair of genuine 155 year old Victorian large solid sterling silver salt dishes.
