I am selling this watch stand for a friend. She got this from an antique dealer after he passes away but he did leave a tag on the item from which I took information from. We are not antique dealers but the last owner was and we trust his knowledge and accuracy because of his years of experience. The metal appears to be brass but there are no markings on this item. It is sturdy and structural defects. The finish is somewhat tarnished and there are a few dings in the metal but looks excellent for being close to 200 years old.
