On offer today is a quite superb pair of sugar tongs in BEAD pattern. Assayed in London by seldom seen partnership of Henry John Lias and James Wakely. It is dated 1880-year letter E. Hallmarks are deep and clear. The length is 5.625 inches. It weighs a hefty 51 grams (1.64troy ounces) and this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. The bowls are unworn. It is unengraved to the bow and always has been,definitely no erasures either.
Condition is excellent.
