Up for sale is a sterling silver souvenir spoon from Reno, Nevada, dating from about 1910. \"Reno\" is engraved in the bowl in Gothic script. The front of the handle depicts a miner with his pick and symbols of animal husbandry and agriculture, and the back the state capital in Carson City as it existed prior to expansion in 1915. About 5 3/4 inches long, 1.0 ounces, 28 grams. The spoon is stamped \"Sterling\" on its back and bears the H in a pennant hallmark the Mechanics Sterling Co., a subsidiary of the Watson Co. The spoon is in excellent vintage condition, noparticular defects to note.
