This sale is for a good quality hallmarked solid silver cigarette case, the hallmarks are rubbed but you can see the lion passant on the right hand door

This is a lovely and very heavy piece, it has an inscription on the inner door rims F Wykeham - Martin, The Cottage Dorridge Warwickshire and also engraved on the inside of the left door are a bird with a snake wrapped around it and a bulls head, maybe a family crest as this may well be connected to the Wykeham- Martin of yachting fame.

This piece measures approx 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches.
The case is slightly domed on top and bottom as shown in the photographs

The case is made from heavy gauge silver and for those who wish to know the weight it is approx 96 grams so a good weight of silver

This lovely case has no major dings but just a couple of tiny dings etc, on an item that has been used, this is excellent.
I have added a photographs, apart from the above mentioned, just a few light cleaning marks.

The case closes well and holds tightly shut with no yawning edges, the lid springs open well at a push of the button.
I have shown photographs from all angles to show the edges.

The case fastens with a central push in catch, as mentioned above

This is a nice cigarette case in as stated condition.
