Heavy mid 19th century English brass trivet or Victorian waiter. This trivet was made from heavy solid brass and measures 11 inches high, 22 inches from handle to handle, and 13.5 inches from the front to back fee. The top measures 11 x 16 inches. See \"The Brass Book\" by Peter, Nancy and Hebert Schiffer c1978 page 406 item A to see a reference to see a very similar example. Excellent condition.

I put local pick up in the items description because always seems to put to low a price for shipping valuable or fragile items that have to be shipped double boxed and properly insured, like this item.
