Offeredis this charming hand painted porcelain china tote “basket” that is molded toappear woven. The front of the basket is decorated with a spray of multicoloredblossoms in a design we believe is called Printemps. Smaller flowers appear onthe back.

The“basket” or box probably was intended to serve as a vase for a small bouquet offlowers, or even a pencil holder.

Itstands 5.5 inches high (14 cm), 4.5 inches wide (11.5 cm) and 1 3/8 inches deep(3.5 cm).

Agold cartouche encircles the flowers on the front. Gold also decorates thebase, rim and handles.
