DESIGN: A finely preserved and fully intact second production 1951-1953 Herman Miller Light Birch plywood \"LCW\" Low Lounge Chair designed by Charles Eames. Bright, clean light Birch veneer throughout that has remained remarkably pristine for over 60 years, all unmolested and complete in excellent condition.CONDITION: This highly sought after post Evans Herman Miller production LCW is in outstanding condition, completely intact and fully functional. The Light Birch veneer is super clean with no chips, cracks or repairs evident aside from the usual small edge bumps/soiling around the feet. The bright wood grain is uniform throughout with no real issues aside from signs of natural aging to the wood veneers, which is minimal at best. All rubber shock mounts appear original aside from the backrest which looks as though it may have been replaced at some time (looks flawless), all are secure without cracking or damage evident, all zinc hardware is intact. Early foil Herman Miller manufacture label is full intact.
DIMENSIONS: The chairs general dimensions are 26\" tall to top of back with an overall width of 22\" at the seat, the seat is 16\" high…chair will be disassembled for shipping to meet regulation limits.
