Very unusual and actually very cool.This Hermann Miller \"H\" base will fit either a fiberglass shell or shell chair with arms.The base has been painted with some very thick old paint that almost appears porcelain.The base isn\'t perfect and shows a few runs, chips or paint loss.It is very unique and cool though and could always be sanded down and repainted/ plated in boring black or chrome.
