Pretty girl named Karen, pleasant young man named John - they could be hurrying to a movie, a supermarket, a college classroom. But they are drug addicts, headed for heroin, for a pusher with a fix. Reported and written by James Mills, this is what their lives are like. First of two installments. Article runs 15 pages with 33 photographs. Second article from the same issue is \"The World of Needle Park\" also by Mills. Article runs 6 pages with 3 photographs. Both articles grade in Fair condition with moisture stains.
