Made at her Bunhill Row Workshop, in London c1775.
A Superb Georgian Sterling Silver Decanter Label. Made in London, c1775, by Hester Bateman. A Charming Scroll shaped Label with an Crest. Hand engraved \'SHERRY\' with a Bright Cut Border. As with all of Hester\'s work it has been made to the highest quality with wonderful eye to form. The brightcut engraved decoartion is very good quality with the facets being well defined. Serated tops of engraved facets well defined and showingwell. Balance of form and style superb. An early and interesting Hester Bateman label.
