NEW NEVER USED!This vintage set of cuff links and tie clasp have the marker’s mark, “Hickok” in all caps on the inside post of each cuff link and on the opposite shaft “U.S.A.” as well as on the back of the clasp. That mark refers to the Hickok Manufacturing Company of Rochester, N.Y. The company was founded in l909 by the great-great nephew of the legendary Wild Bill Hickok, S. Rae Hickok. According to the company’s history it was “once the largest and most respected mark of men’s belts and accessories in the world.”This set, likely from the l960s, has a blue-grey donkey against a black background, and is set in silver tone metal. The face of each measures 7/8” square. Overall the cufflinks are in excellent condition. However, there are some minor scratches on the tie clasp(would not be visible when wearing clasp). But overall it’s clear they’ve never been used in their 50+ years of existence.From Election Day to July 4th this donkey symbol of the Democratic Party is perfect for those wanting to proclaim their affiliation.
