Five Solid oval & round High Quality Opal Triplets measuring 6x4mm (0.24\"x0.16), 5x4mm (0.20\"x0.16\") & 4mm (0.16\") set in a Solid Sterling Silver English Antique style setting.

These are opal triplets which are made from very colourful high quality pieces of Natural Opal which have been covered by a layer of clear quartz crystal. Opal is a very delicate gemstone, and when Opal jewellery is worn everyday the surface of the opal can become dull with lots of tiny scratches, hence opal triplet such as this gives you an excellent compromise you get a very colourful stone which is more durable. These opal triplets look very similar to the rare black opal mined in Australia.

Made completely from Solid English Sterling Silver. This ring has been Fully Hallmarked by the London Assay Office. These markings include, the Royal Lion, 925 and the Leopards Head, being the symbol of the Assay Office.
