ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is aHistoric Gate and Railing Set in three parts, from the Eisenhower Expressway Post Office. Height 42 1/4 x length 120 3/4 inches. The gate is in the Art Deco style, and represents America with stylized eagles throughout. The piece appears to be made of a gilded bronze, but it is difficult to be sure. It is 1.25\" thick, and weighs a combined 325 lbs. The gate is in excellent condition, free of dents, dings, or losses. It is ready for immediate use, and appears to have been professionally cleaned a few years back.
Main Portion: This piece is 72\" long, and 42.5\" tall. It weighs nearly 200 lbs, as this fence is extremely heavy. It is of the highest quality ever made.
Taller Gate: This is the same height as the long piece described above. It is 42.5\" tall and 24.5\" wide. It has plate hinges on one side, and a slide lock on the other.
Smaller Matching Gate 1: 36.5\" tall, 24\" wide, with round hinge holders on one side, and a lock on the other.
SHIPPING COSTS/TERMS
This fence will require a private shipper, and will likely cost between $275 - $475 to ship, depending on where you live.
Please note that I will need to utilize a professional packing/shipping companyfor this item. I travel there once per week, so shipping this item may take up to 10 days to shipafter payment.
