For your consideration is this fantastic hand carved Yellow Corn Maiden Kachina doll by Hopi carver Sam Tewa.

This gorgeous kachina doll was hand carved out of top grade cottonwood and hand painted with dyes made from natural materials off the reservation. The Corn maiden is depicted in many different colors and this one\'s face is painted in yellow. She is wrapped in a blue cob set among an open husk. Her presence is a prayer for corn. She also honors Mother Earth and her continuing ability to feed her children. Placing this Kachina in your home, particularly on an altar, shows respect for the many gifts we receive each day from Mother Earth.

Measures approx 8 1/4\" tall x 3 3/4\" wide. Labeled and signed by the Hopi master carver. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
