The freezelessWoodfordModel 22 Hot and Cold faucetis designed and intended for year-round hot and cold irrigation and outdoor watering regardless of outside conditions.Separate hot and cold inlet tubes allow for manually operated temperature control with cross contamination protection. This faucet contains patented pressure relief valves that prevents the faucet tubing from bursting in freezing weather should a hose be accidentally left on. The Woodford Model 22 has a Patented resetting pressure relief valve (PRV) that helps prevent the faucet tube from rupturing, and consequent water damage during freezing temperatures, even if a hose is inadvertently left connected to the faucet. Faucet will still freeze if hose is inadvertently left connected to the faucet, however it will not rupture.
