This antique cast iron antique toy car was made by Hubley in Lancaste, PA. This is the 1933 version of the Pierce Arrow take apart. Hubley only made this car without sidemounts in the first year of 1933. In 1934, the car had spare tires and was painted the more common red/blue. This is the larger size measuring 6.25 inches in length and retains approximately 70% of the original black and yellow paint. The four white rubber tires and wire spring are original to the toy.
