Spectacular Antique Boston Bull Terrier Dog Hubley Cast Iron Doorstop BROWN Orig Paint 10\"

This early large VINTAGE CAST IRON HUBLEY Boston Terrier Dog door stop is a deep Espresso Brown and Creamy White, which was more common a color in the breed during that era then as compared to the deep black color from current time. The HUBLEY bull dog mouth is pink. In excellent condition, great eyes, no cracks or structural issues, no evidence of repair, paint and patina looks to be original first factory paint and untouched, with age appropriate paint chip loss. Finish on piece is appropriate, age and maker appropriate screw type and placement, can visualize ribs, as well as texture for makers typical materials and marks, weight approx 8 1/2 pounds. This HUBLEY cast iron dog door stop is from the cast iron heyday era lasting from the turn of the century into the 1930\'s and is in the collector\'s guides.
