This amazing Easter Bunny is avintage store window display piece, made as a gigantic candy container! It is hollow with ah hole in the bottom, and it's head removes, and is hollow, as well. It is hand made, and hand painted. There is a pink ribbon around it's neck that could be easily replaced; I have left it, as it is original. The bunny is covered in plus faux cotton fur, with the most beautiful expressive face. The bunny is carrying a pink glitter egg, and has a pink glitter nose. The egg has some white fabric daisies on it. The piece stands 34 3/4" tall - almost 3 feet high! It dates to the 1950's, and has some flaws, but nothing significant, considering it's age! There are no breaks or bad damage, just small cosmetic ones. The bunny is made from paper mache pulp that has been blown into a mold. The bunny face and ears are covered in a light coating of plaster, and hand painted. It is really an extraordinary piece! The fur has some slight discolorations, and there are some light stains to some of the paint. Please take a close look at all the photos. Because of pt's size, I will probably ship in two boxes - one for the head and one for the body. I have put the age at 1950's, but this fellow may, indeed be older; there are no marks as to who made him.Please see my other listings, as there are lots of items like this one!
