.This Beautiful extra Large Daubiere is from the early 1800\'s. No makers mark, this would have been before the manufacturers began to mark there products. This fine piece of handmade craftsmanship is a good example of a high quality antique copper Daubiere. It measures 23\" handle to handle, the body is 18\" 8\" High 10.25\" High(with handle) 11.75\" Wide(body) 12.25\" Wide.(at the top) The handle on the cover is 14\". Weight approx. 17 lbs. The walls about 1.5mm Thick.(the lid seams to be thicker) The tin lining is greyed with age and worn thru in places. See picture # 9. The top has a few spot where one can see copper, see picture #10. The dovetail is evident on the end as well as on the bottom. See the pictures, it shows this in detail also the condition. One handle does have a small crack, see picture # 8 (still very secure).
