A stunning example of fine quilt making, with gorgeous turkey red and yellow.

This quilt has a creamy, somewhat off white background.

It is expertly hand quilted at 9-10 stitches per inch and has quilted grid work with squares that measure approx. 5/8\" x 5/8\"

It is hand bound.

Measures a huge 98\" x 98\"

The turkey red is in wonderful condition, although some of the pieces have a tiny print that has dissolved from the mordant dye, leaving tiny holes.

There are a couple little holes in the triangle border pieces, there is a tiny print on the yellow squares that is faded, some of the yellow flowers on the other red squares are partially faded, there is very light tanning, some spots, there are light water marks. (See photos.) Not laundered.

A grand old quilt, a wonderful find!
