Fine large 19th century English interior scene with a lady reclined on a chaise lounge, oil on canvas. Exceptional large scale portrait of the young lady, probably a singer or actress wearing a fine white dress holding a paper and with abouquetof flowersfollowing her performance and holding a newspaper. Excellent quality andconditionthough out, no visible signature but certainly an accomplished painter and a high profile figure as the sitter that needs some research. Gilt frame.
