For sale is this truly magnificent huge antique Persian solid silver vase. The vase has been hand chased by a very important and famous silversmith - Bagher Parvaresh. The Parvaresh family were very well known for their works on silverware. Bagher\'s work was considerably better than his brother Hossein. Bagher Parvaresh had made pieces for the Shah Pahlavi. This is how fine his work really were.Bagher Parvaresh\'s works are of the superior quality as you can see from this marvelous vase.
The vase has been hand chased with some magnificent scenes. There are four main focal points. One is of an extremely finely chased woman holding flowers. The other is of a young man playing a string instrument. The quality of the work is of the highest standards. Just look at the level of detail to their faces and their clothing. The work is unbelievably fine.The other two focal points are nature base. There is one breathtaking scenes of deer, very finely hand chased with foliage in the background.
The last focal point is of breathtaking birds with again more foliage. There are also densely chased, beautiful highly detailed, very cleanly finished, floral motifs and birds on branches throughout the body the of the vase. The top of the vase has a beautiful floral shape. The long slender shape of the vase overall is very elegant.However the three main scenes have been chased on a flat surface.. That\'s why I love this vase. The contrast in the work on the vase works beautifully together. The three scenes include old tribesmans and scholars and women. The level of detail is breathtaking. Just look t the photos. Look at the shading and level of detail to the facial features and the clothing etc.This vase is a one-in-a-million piece.It huge size and breathtaking quality will leave anyone who sees in completely amazed.No matter how much I try to explain how beautiful the vase really is, you cannot fully appreciate them until you see them for yourself. It has been tested and is guaranteed solid silver. It has also been hallmarked to the base with the maker\'s name - \"Bagher Parvaresh\". There is also \"84\" hallmarks for the purity too, with the \"84\" hallmark.
SizeThe height of the vase is 54cm.This huge vase weighs a very impressive 1565.5 grams. That\'s over 1.5KG of solid silver!!The vase is in very good condition. There are one or two very very light dings to the vase. You cannot see them, but you might be able to feel the dings if you feel around the vase. They do not affect the appearance of the vases at all, as it is impossible to see these dings. I am just mentioning it, so you know everything. Fantastic condition nonetheless.
