George Steere operated out of the Rhode Island area in the early 1900s. His jewelry is very distinctive, unusual and highly collectible. Typically very Gothic in style, many pieces feature mythical dragons, snakes, fish, and other animals. Many pieces were jeweled with beautiful foiled art glass, or paste stones. There is a touch of wear as seen, nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece. This would be a wonderful addition for any collection!
