The Western Heritage Museum presents Aces & Eights Deluxe Collectors Edition Poker Game by Franklin Mint: “The ultimate game as a work of art”.

This is a Rare and Vintage Game was Produced in 1992 by The Franklin Mint and presented by The Western Heritage Museum.

This particular Aces and Eights Collectors Edition Poker Game was purchased new by my grandparents in 1992. There it sat on a shelf, higher than their grandson could reach, for over 20 years before their passing. My adornment of this game did not go unnoticed as it was passed on to me.

This set is in near perfect condition and has never been played. The original playing cards remain sealed and I truly believe the custom designed playing surface, or kitty, has ever been unfolded - factually for the 15 years in my possession.

The gaming chips were individually minted, from specifically prepared coining dies and alloys, giving them the rich look of bronze, silver, and gold. This set contains all 198 original gaming chips in pristine condition (100 bronze, 49 silver, 49 gold). The hardwood cabinet was hand polished to a deep mahogany finish.The cabinet is adorned with brass door hinges, cabinet handles, and drawer pull. The inside of the cabinet doors have plaques. The left an illustration of poker hands; the right listing the “House Rules” that governed play in the Old West.

This is truly a complete set; including the original brochure from The Western Heritage Museum, the Players Guide, all poker chips, both sets of sealed playing cards, and playing board. Aces & Eights Collectors Edition was a limited edition, turned in a rare collectors item.
