I recently acquired this stamp collectionand decided to divide up everythinginto large lots and sell them individually. Many of the stamps date back to the 1800s andthere is a huge variety, including the following:

Everything I found in the collection ispictured below. Due to the huge numberof stamps I cannot photograph every single one, but I tried my best to give agood overall representation of the collection.To be fair, I divided all of the stamps evenly into large lots and leftnothing out!

For the loose stamps and stamps on paper,there were far too many individual stamps to count them and divide them, so Isimply divided them by weight. I can’tguarantee a specific number of these items, but I have given an approximatenumber after counting the stamps from a few randomly selected groups.

I’m not sure of the value of each lot becauseI don’t have time to look up the tens of thousands of stamps in this collectionfrom all of the different countries.Many of the foreign stamps look like they are very old but I have noidea what country they’re from and don’t have a catalog to look them up. I did attempt to look up some of the older USstamps, and found that some have a book value of up to $100, but I am by nomeans an expert on this subject.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION – please see the photos below the descriptions

The used stamps vary in condition from lightto heavy cancellations and most have normal wear due to age. Overall, everything is in at least good condition, and a small portion of the stamps are in fair to poor condition.

US and foreign album pages. Therewere numerous albums so I took out all of the pages that had stamps on them anddivided them up. The stamps range fromthe late 1800s to the 1990s. Pages mayhave only one or a few stamps, or they may be filled. You will receive some of each type.

Bulk US stamps on paper dating back to the 1940s.

Old foreign stamps off paper from the 1880s to around the 1940s. Some look to be quite old. I would say there are around 100 countriesrepresented.

Foreign stamps off paper from about the 1940s to the 1990s. I also mixed in all of the mint foreignstamps from the stock books.

US stamps off paper from the 1930s to the 1990s.

US and foreign stamps on paper. I mixedtogether all of the US and foreign on paper stamps from various parts of thecollection before dividing everything.

Old US stamps. Theseare between 80 and 100 years old. There are some mint stamps and nearly all are in at least fair condition. All of these stamps from the collection are pictured below.

Very old US stamps. Theseare all over 100 years old, up to 150 years old. The current book value of some of thestamps is close to $100. There are acouple of non-postage items included in this group (see photos). Some of these stamps have creases, tears, corners missing, etc. due to their age. I included an extra stamp if there was one in less than fair condition. You will receive at least one of the stamps pictured.

US First Day Covers as old as the 1930s. Most of these are engraved cachets and manyhave complete sheets, multiple stamps, plate blocks, airmail, souvenir sheets,etc.

Approval sheets sent out during the 1960s and 1970s with US andforeign stamps. Most of the stamps areolder.

Mint US singles as old as 1933. There are some pairs and strips included aswell as stamps with a face value as high as $10.

Mint US blocks as old as 1938. Some booklet panes, larger coil strips, andstrips of 3 are also included.

Mint US envelopes and postcards.These include items that have the postage printed as part of theenvelope or postcard. These are mostlyfrom the 1980s and 1990s.

US Plate Number Coils (PNCs). These aremostly in used condition. They are rarebecause there is only one printed per roll or coil.

Old US covers, from the 1860s up to the early 1970s. I am selling all of the covers intact withoutremoving any stamps from the envelopes.

Foreign covers and airmail, from the 1960s to the 1990s, from a varietyof countries.
