HUGE RARE ANTIQUE BRASSCHINESE FOOTED INCENSEBURNER WITH THE SHISA FOO DOG/LION ON TOP. THE CHINESE BELIEVE THAT THE OPEN MOUTH SHISAWARDS OFF EVIL SPIRTS. THIS BEAUTIFUL SHISA BURNER WAS PURCHASED AT A LOCAL ESTATE SALE OF A WORLD WIDE MILITARY TRAVELER. THE BRASS DOES HAVE SOME DAMAGE IN THE AREAS PICTURED (PHOTOS 7&8) BUT DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THIS RARE AND GORGEOUS PIECE OF JAPANESE HISTORY. THE HOLE PIECE MEASURES APPROX.20\"TALL BY 17\"WIDE ANDAPPROX 18LB. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION AND IF THEIR IS ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ANSWER.
