This \'Chimney Sweep\' figurine is an authentic W. Goebel figurine made in Germany. It is stamped on the bottom with the maker\'s mark (the bumble bee inside of the V is a mark that was used approximately 1950 - 1955) and is Hummel\'s trademark #2, in addition to the model number (#12/1) - which signifies this as the \'Doll Doctor\' model. Hummel\'s signature is engraved on the back of the base, and there is an additional number 35 in the base as well.
The figurine is clean with slight wear to the finish. There is one small chip to the base, and only a couple slight cracks to the finish itself in the base - not the figurine. No outstanding marks. Features all original paint from first manufacture.
Features a young boy in traditional German clothes, holding a ladder, small broom and rope as he is prepared to sweep chimneys. The figure is 6.5 inches tall and weighs about 8 ounces and the base is about 2.75inches across.
