Modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1988. Issued as a limited production of 30,000 pieces, individually numbered to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of Columbus\' discovery of America. This piece is number 09566. The inscription reads: \"1492-1992 - The Quincentennial of America\'s Discovery\" applied by blue decal. It has an incised 1988 copyright date. The M.I. Hummel signature is located on the back side of the boat.
