HUM2174 A - Pretty Posey and HUM 2174 B - Pocketful of Posies (TMK 8, nowwithdrawn) were issued in 2004 as part of a Collector Set entitled BloomingDelights. This set has four elements: 1& 2) two 3½” figurines marked with Special Edition backstamps and having agarland of flowers on the front of the base that match the colors of theflowers each holds, 3) a Limoges-style box shaped like a cart of flowers toextend the base, and 4) a musical Hummelscape that plays “Let Me Call YouSweetheart.”

Thescape also has a glass votive with candle to set behind the glass windows toilluminate them. The scape itselfdepicts the front of a flower shop where our two little sweethearts have met.There are cans of flowers on display and a swinging sign to identify the shop.The little boy has arrived on his red scooter just in time to offer a flower tohis girl. When the music box plays, thestep the girl is standing on moves back and forth so she can flirt with him alittle.

Whennot sold in the Collector Set, the figurines do not have the flower garland onthe base. Also the Limoge box seems to only have come with a limited few sets.

This is from my wife\'s personal collection. Just a little thinning to find a new home for some of her Hummels. She has collected Hummels for over 50 years. She has served on the Hummel Club national advisory board as well as being president of her local chapter for many years. The pieces themselves are in like new condition with no chips, crazing etc., and come in their original boxes unless otherwise noted above.
