An African Grey figurine from Hutschenreuther of Germany that balances upon a decidedly Deco ball base on a platform that\'s flanked by smaller spheres. It is hand painted in shades of gray, black and white, while red appears on its tail, and is finished in a shiny glaze. Crafted between 1938 and 1955 it\'s not a small piece, standing at 8 3/8 inchestall and measuring 7 inches long and 4.25 incheswide at its triangular base. The sculpture is \"first choice\" and is in excellent condition despite its advanced years. It\'s also solid, heavy, and excellently made.
