Fresh from a Maine estate is this elegant, large enameled Russian spoon. It is gilded gold over silver on the inside and enameled on the outside. The handle has a beautiful ribbed design along with enameled parts. The hallmarks on the spoon are \"84\" for silver, a date which I am not able to decipher, and a makers mark. It a beautiful matching pair, and a rare find. This is a superb Russian silver smith work that is well preserved though out time.
