Incredible Antique Life-size Celtic, Tibetan Or S. American Skull For Sale

Description: This is old and beautiful, with a powerful striking presence, a solid engravedmetal skull. We are not sure, in fact we are guessing at Celtic, Tibetan or South American or the actual material. It has been hand (our opinion)chased artistically all over with intricate geometric patterns and strange looking animals, birds, two human-like flute or whistle blowers and other human-like characters. Incredibly realistic and heavy at over 3 kilograms, we believe it is made of solid aluminium, pewter, lead or silver (wishful thinking), it doesn't appear to be an alloy. They don’t get any better than this one in our opinion and we doubt you will ever see another like it. It certainly has some age to it but difficult to determine how old. It mayhave been painted black originally as there seems to be traces of back paint here and there. Please look at the pictures andsee for yourself. This skull is an artisticmasterpiece and no doubtquite rare, well, we've never seen one in our 100 years of collecting!

Condition: Good condition with surface wear commensurate with age. We believe there may be a few small dents when you look carefully (no doubt it has been dropped a few times in the past, not by us I hasten to add) which ordinarily you do not notice, and in no way do they detract anything at all from this mesmerising sculpture
