This is a wonderful full-page color plate from a children’s book from the 1930’s. It depicts a native American child joyously returning from a hunt, and greeted by his sister, mother, father, grandmother, aunt, and even the family’s wolf-like dog (perhaps a husky or malamute?). Imagine decorating your child’s room with this exiting print from your grandfather’s era! Several additional cowboy and Indian prints from same series available through my store as well.

This is a color plate from rare book is almost 70 years old. It has a blank back, meaning it was printed separately from the text for better quality and then tipped in or sewn into the book when it was bound. It has very slight toning from age (yellowing), but the colors are still very bold and bright. It is guaranteed to be over 65 years old, and would look wonderful framed.

Note that the page size is approx. 8.25x10.75 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 7.5x9 inches (approx. 19x23cm).

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item.
