This is an interesting Staffordshire porcellaneous building of a cottage pastille burner of which:

during our research: we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century:

dates of the cottage.

Decoration of:

windows to the front with:

the chimneys on the roof.

decorative hole to the rear for the insertion of a pastille.

areas of coloured lntricate flowers and leaves to the front.

Mounted on the oval hollow base.

It has an overall height of about 4.75inches.

Hollowed base with an overall size underneathof about 4 x 3.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is:

subject to: loss of a chimney and to the decorative front at the top.

one chimney has been glued to the roof with a central repair.

chipping to an edge of the roof.

nibbles to the intricate flowers and leaves with one being remounted to the roof.

minor nibble to the base edge at the front.

All as perpictures.

With today\'s modern & advanced restoration techniques, can certainly be improved.
