This is an interesting pair of creamware urns with the fruits,with the pedestal decorative bases of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainly date from the 18th century.

Date about c1790s.

Unmarked but certainly of an english origin.

Creamware.

A pair of decorative urns with the fruits to the tops with leaf decoration.

Hand decoration around the circumferences.

Pedestal bases with the circular plinths.

Raised flower decoration around the circumferences with colour.

Hollow square bases.

Each urn mounted on the pedestal base has an overall height of about 6.5inches.

Each pedestal having an overall max circular dia of about 2inches.

Size of the hollow bases of about 2 x 2inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition to both is:

both urns are subject to early glue repairs with areas of chipping to the base edges and to the tops around the edges with chipping & nibbles to the leaves.

pedestal bases are subject to minor nibbles only.

with today\'s modern & advanced restoration techniques, can certainly be improved.
