=^..^= Adorable, 1940s vintage, early hard plastic or celluloid, (cellulose acetate) pink figural clown playing a drum,salesman\'s sample, baby rattle toy measuring,6\" long by 3\" wide, with excellent raised design and detail, manufactured by Irwin Plastics Corp.,New York, N.Y.USA and isstamped with their raised logo on the back (as shown). Irwin Cohn started his styrene toy plant, Irwin Corporation, at 27 West 20th St., New York, N.Y. in 1922 (see cardboard tag for reference only) also in Leominster, Ma.* and closed in 1973after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world. This toy is from an extensive collection of salesman\'s samples obtainedfrom the closed factory and was used as one of theirmodelsin the factory. Other Irwin rattle toys shown and antique dolls are all being sold separately and also not included in this listing.\"Drumming CLOWN\" is quite a desirable toy and in perfect condition with no damages or repairs, no dents or splits and no chew marks as he has never been played with.
