ITALIAN CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN LAMP WITH BEAUTIFUL PAINTED CHERUBS WITH GOLD:

This is a beautiful Italian Capodimote Lamp. The lamp has 8 panels, 4 with painted Cherubs separated by ornate decorative holes with Gold Painted flowers on the other 4 panels. The lamp has this pattern on 3 separate panels from the base to the top. There is some Gold missing that must have been caused by age. I also found one chip, in picture number 9, but is small. The base is brass with a round filigree design and measures 7\" in diameter. The wiring looks good, but I will leave it to the buyer to replace if desired. This lamp measures 18\" high from the base to the top of the socket and 6.5\" in diameter from the widest part. The lamp does not have a harp or finial. The lamp weighs approximately 6 pounds. I have purchased every kind of gold paint to replace the gold missing and someone told me to purchase paint for \"Model Cars\" and that would match. I was afraid to try it because my Arthritis limits me on what I can do with my hands now. Thanks for looking.
