Introducing a beautiful early 16th (1500-1501) young calf vellum illuminated leaf. Beautifully illuminated on calfskin vellum, the leaf is in immaculate condition with no signs of soiling, wear or tear. With a beautiful rose in the margin of the page, the graphics of the page are exceptional and truly something to be marveled at. This particular leaf is of French origin (Northern) and is well illuminated with exceptional recto and verso letters in gold.
