Russian Sterling Silver Creamer Hallmarked MoscowWood Handle & Gold Wash Date-mark 1814

Presented is a GreatRussian Sterling Silver Creamer or Cream Pitcher with a great gold washedinterior and wood handle. This great piece is hallmarked with a maker’s mark,city mark and assay mark dated 1814 by IvanIvanovich Vikhlyaev working c1802-18. It has a great tight wood handlewith and excellent floral motif band around the center. This is a hand crafteditem with only some very minor dings and some fine scratches from gentle useand care. The handle is tight and there is only some light loss of gold wash ininterior and no monogram. This is an excellent example of Russian smiths and agreat antique for the collector of silver.
