Really rare visor hat, 13th Hussars colors, all original, from a central PA estate lot bought by a collector many years ago, NO mothing, light soiling to top from storage, lining is of a cheap material almost like paper, some damage to the area around the maker name, as you can see, which is D David, Berlin. The front seam in the hat, from the top of the band to the top of the crown, looks like it opened up at some time and was stitched back together, an expert could do it better probably but its not bad, but must be noted. Sweatband is not real leather, and looks to be resewed in places, shows some wear from use and age, some of the medium brown glazing is crackled somewhat. Hat is used but not suffering damage in any way beyond my description.
