Genuine Russian Imperial Army WWI Solhberg M17 helmet. This type of so called \"Russian Adrian\" was produced in Finland (part of Russian Empire till 1917th) this is the main reason why M17 Sohlberg also named \"Finnish Adrian\". Sohlberg M17 used during WW2 by the Finnishhome guardand on the home front by antiaircraft units from Helsinki. The helmet was painted on black color by the Finnish during WW2. Original cotton liner and leather chinstrap were replaced on reindeer skin liner and chinstrap. Chinstrap has a repair mark. Big Size 60.There is no number on liner. Good condition. Still a good item for the collector and reenactors. It\'s possible to find original khaki paint inder the black paint. It\'s really hard to find such helmet these days. Don\'t miss.
