Very LARGEImportant Original Art Nouveau Circa 1900 iridescent Bohemian Art Glass centerpiece vase in a 3-footed bronze (or brass ?) metal mountingfeaturing a masks ofexceptionalSymbolist women with wings....

Guaranteed to be original Circa 1900 antique art glass, but I am not an expert on all of the different manufacturers ... It was sold to me by a knowledgeable seller as being an example of Loetz Phänomen, butsomeone else toldme it ismade by Rindskopf... In either case, it is an important addition to your collection

The iridescent art glass has an overall shimmery dark emerald green appearance, with gold and deep purple iridescent hues ...

The dramatically flared glass vase is pulled and swirled with subtle marbleized pulled feather striations in shades (that look to me like...) light pinkish purple anda subtle grey-green (?) with small streaks ofblue and red in the marbleizing (subtle, but more evidentnear the top ofthe 4 folded lip ).... The widest part of the flare in the body of the vase --on the edge-- is accented with a dark band in the iridescence (possibly dark purple?)

The undersidehas a polished pontil mark..and looks more like a deep purplecolor with fuchsia iridescence (maybe also green and goldshimmers ?) ... The colors seem to change based on the lighting and environment...

The glass is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs...unsigned, as is correct...

Metal mounting has some spotting, and evidence of age, slight bends etc. ..but overall both vase and holder are in very good condition ....

The vase and holder and shown from different angles in these photos in order to illustrate different aspects of the design...Please see all pics to best understand how the vase fits into the holder...

Measures (in holder): about 9" in diameter 10" high ...the glass insert alone is about 8 1/2 " in diameter and about 6 1/2" tall ....

This vase looks even better in person than I was able to show in the photographs !...

The size is very large and impressive ..and will appeal to collectors of LÖTZ , Kralik glass ( Pallme Pallm Palm Konig )

The glass and metal holder are heavy and to assure a safe delivery, each will bebubble-wrapped separately, which will make the package quite large...
