Offered... a best example of Jim Harrison\'s bolo in the micro Inlay style of work which is depicted in the books, as he is one of the most renowned contemporary artists. When I search I find on other bolos in this style and the few bracelets in this style in the galleries are priced at $1500 and higher. This is the most fabulous style with the Yei bi Chei spiritual night figures with micro inlay that seems to include 14K gold inlay as well as numerous fine stones such as coral, turquoise, lapis, malachite, mother of pearl, and melon shell. It\'s hard to see how magnificent this work really is because the pictures are magnified and the inlay is actually of minuscule pieces of stone and shell, all perfectly wrought. The piece is in immaculate condition in every respect, is wearable, collectible vintage work. There\'s a bit of tarnish or patina on the sides which could be easily removed. The piece really looks unworn to me! The leather tie is perfect, at least 6 or 8 ply and the Hopi style tips are also in superb condition. This piece is a great masterpiece!

The bolo measures 2-13/16\" x 1-3/16\". The bolo tips are 2-3/4\" high, which is the perfect size aesthetically for the bolo. The tie, which is still flexible, original and old, measures end to end with the tips at about 44\" total. The bolo is stamped with Jim Harrison\'s hallmark, and \"hand made\" and \"sterling.\" Jim makes his own tools and does all this work from scratch -- it is extremely intensive work with dozens of steps involved and it\'s absolutely gorgeous -- truly riveting and captures one\'s attention for the intricacy and beauty of the work. This one is a unique example and quite exceptional.

Jim Harrison worked with many artists including Preston and Jesse Monongya. You can see that influence in this fabulous piece. This bolo is very beautiful and is highly collectible. This is a treasure that would suit all collections is museum worthy and is beautiful to wear. I\'ve priced it well below market for now.
