His mother was Ann Yellowhorse. A stunning piece for all its simplicity from this important artist. The buckle is fully signed for this artist and hallmarked sterling. All hand wrought with beautiful detail. Presently with moderate patina – has not been polished or cleaned. Shows light wear with no real issues from wear. If worn, it would be completely suitable for a man or woman, dress or sport. Buckle is 2 ½ x 2 inches. The 12 Conchos are 2 x 1 ½ inches. Total length is approx. 40 inches. Total sterling weight is 267 grams – Heavy but still wearable! Orville Tsinnie material is scarce and finding a concho belt is becoming very difficult.
