This 1897 Inaugural Ball Invitation isparticularly specialbecause it possesses the actual ribbon holding the program together. Most of those ribbons were lost over time. It also contains a Carriage Parking Pass (Number 199). That pass was issued to the Vice President. The broken tabs are alsonoticeable on probably the single time the invitation was used. This is a special andvery singular example of a rare piece of early presidential memorabilia. In pristine very fine condition with the undamaged tissue papers that separated the pages of the time and to this day.
